Restructuring of the former St. Gilles halls to create a « Heritage House » and a « PNRQAD » (National Program of Reclassification for Ancient Degraded Neighbourhoods).
A velvet hand in a steel glove.
The Saint-Gilles halls belong to the same architectural typology as the Baltard halls in Paris and the Castellane halls in Montpellier.
The scenography of the Saint-Gilles halls fits discreetly and subtly into this heritage setting, offering a modular and adaptable cultural venue with a multi-disciplinary program that reinforces the historical value, meeting spirit, and city life for the people of Saint-Gilles.
