The “Small Theatre” had been closed to the public for several years, and the city of Nevers decided to restore this magnificent Italian-style theater to its former glory. The project, led by Noël Leriche, has restored this emblematic venue, located just a few meters away from the « Palais Ducal », to its former glory.
Créafactory was chosen to carry out a complete project management mission to design a scenographical and technical facility that would meet the city’s expectations and enable the “Small Theatre” to offer high-quality artistic and cultural programming. The major challenge was to refurbish the stage house and modernize this heritage venue with the latest technology while considering contemporary artistic practices.
